‘We Will Rock You’ Reimagined as an AC/DC Song

Musician Otu Suurmunne of Moonic Productions did a perfect impression of singer Brian Johnson when he reimagined the classic Queen song “We Will Rock You” in the distinct, heavy metal style of AC/DC. Suurmunne not only provided the raw vocals but also played every instrument on this mashup.

This is what Queen – We Will Rock You would sound like if AC/DC wrote it. Enjoy the mashup!

He Did Similar Mashup For ‘Another One Bites the Dust’

Batman and Superman Join Forces to Battle Darth Vader on the Death Star in an Amazing Live Action Short

The father-son team of Sean Schoenke and Aaron Schoenke of Bat in the Sun Productions created an amazing live-action short where Batman travels to the Death Star in order to rescue Superman and then join forces to battle Darth Vader. It was quite a treat to see Batman draw a lightsaber against Vader, although the fight appears to have just begun.

Welcome One and All

Welcome to a new website dedicated to the fascinating world of Crossovers.

So what are Crossovers? The Wikipedia definition lists examples of:

  • The result of the exchange of genetic material during meiosis.
  • A place where one thing crosses over another.
  • An athlete who competes in a multi-sport event like a triathlon or decathlon.
  • A blend of multiple styles of music or multiple film genres, intended to appeal to a wider audience.
  • A piece of fiction that borrows elements from two or more fictional universes.

1893 is first known use of the word according to Merriam Webster. 1893 was also when we see a great Crossover event take place in Chicago with the Parliament of the World Religions. 1893 was also the time when the Pulp industry really took off thanks to printing technology innovations and cost savings allowing prices prices for the leading The Golden Argosy to drop to to 10¢ an issue! This helped spread the pulpy adventure, sci-fi, and fantasy fiction across the generations that continue to reverberate to today.

This website is a love letter and an exploration philosophically (i.e. zeitgeist and synchronicity) and socially (across business, interspecies relationship, and pop culture) to the phenomenon.

Long live Crossovers!
